Man Wins Lottery, Buys Golden Shower.

Nashville, TN - Elliot McKinley didn’t know that his life would change that day he walked into the 7-Eleven on the corner near his mobile home. He had gone inside to play the same numbers he has since he was 18 years old. This time, the numbers came up and he won the $150 million jackpot.

When he was asked what he was going to do with his winnings, he stated that he wanted a “golden shower”, which lead to snickers and laughs amongst those who were in attendance. McKinley shrugged off the laughter as nothing more than another slight against him.
Today, McKinley announced that he had finished renovations on his mobile home to include a shower made entirely out of gold. It is the first such shower made in the world for a mobile home. When asked what motivated him to do it, McKinley simply said, “Because I darn well can”.
The Nashville City Counsel doesn’t believe that he can build that shower. They are moving through an investigation with the building management department and zoning regulations to determine the legality of such a shower.
“We believe that the structure is too heavy for a modular home, and therefore is unsafe. If this is the case, Mr. McKinley will have to remove the shower and pay a stiff fine,” stated City Counsel Member Bradford T. Harris. “Our investigation is ongoing, and thus, I cannot comment more at this time.”
If McKinley’s golden shower is determined to be illegal, it will rain on his parade. He will be hit with a fine to the city of over $10,000 plus removal costs of the offensive shower.
