Police Find Suspicious Object

Baltimore, MD - Authorities closed down three blocks of downtown Baltimore today when what was reported as a “suspicious water fountain” was found outside of the Baltimore City courthouse. This marks the second time a plumbing device has been found outside of a building in the Baltimore area. There was a “suspicious toilet” found outside the courthouse in Towson.

“At this time, we do not believe it is an incendiary device, but it is quite unusual to keep finding these items outside of courthouses. We know very little about this second item other than it is a stand up water fountain, complete with cabinet,” police spokesman Rory Danes told reporters out front of Police Headquarters.

Authorities are looking into the matter and urge anyone who sees anything out of the ordinary to call the Baltimore City Police Department. More details will be posted when they come available.
